ABOUT MR. ELLIOTT
Eugene M. Elliott, Jr., was named Local Bar Leader of the Year by the Virginia State Bar in June of 2005. He is a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation to which only one percent of Virginia attorneys are invited to join. He is a past president of the Roanoke Bar Association and past Chairman of the Roanoke Bar Association Foundation. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association. He is a former president of the Virginia Museum of Transportation, Inc. and is and has been a member of its Executive Board for 25 years. He with others was instrumental in saving Mill Mountain Zoo from closing and served as its first president. He is and has been active in many other bar related and civic projects.
Mr. Elliott received his juris doctorate from Washington and Lee University Law School and was active in many of its activities, including serving as a Note & Comment Editor of the Law Review. He is a graduate of Marshall University and Virginia Episcopal School.
